wtnhunt
Season ended here Jan 6th, probably just enough time for a wound to be healing up good. The multiple shot brown its down shooters behind are still around and hunting practically on top of us unfortunately, and I did hear a few shots over the closing weekend pretty close by. Kind of looks like this doe has been shot in the hind end. What do you all think?
Ohiobucks
She looks healthy otherwise, no ribs showing. Could be anything.
toddyboman
I don't think so really.....Just a patch of hair missing.... I would think a shot would look worse than that.....Like Tom said she looks pretty healthy. But I really don't know for sure.
Tominator
Hard to say William. She looks fine to me.
Leo
I would think if that was an arrow or bullet wound that deer would be in MUCH worse shape than it appears to be. I doubt a bad shot caused what you are seeing.

WVdeerhunter
Dont really look like a shot but it might be a graze. She will make it all right.
Ravin R10 man
not enough damage in my opinion...at least for a rifle..a bow wound?? possibly
wtnhunt
Yeah, I think she will make it fine too, that was not really a question. Have seen deer that had been shot that were healing up before and I guess to me this area on the does rump looked kind of similar. Season had been closed for 2 weeks when that pic was taken. Oh well, maybe we will get some closer pics.
ny garyyamamoto
if it were a rifle she would be walking she proly would be dragging to bow maybe
slughunter
I would say either she got grabbed onto by a coyote or else the wind blew the hair in the wrong way and its not fallen back into the normal way. If thats a bad shot then this doe I got a picture of is one tough deer that got lit up, lol. -shane
Jimfrompa
It looks like Buck rash to me. As she looks healthy. Was she limping at all?
