PotashRLS
I am a bit strapped for cash but ran across a new Browning A Bolt II Matte Finish in the .223 WSSM at a local sport shop. It is marked down to $349.99:D. I only tinker in calling coyotes as we have a lot of guys that hunt em with dogs around here and that makes it tougher. Its hard to justify the money on a gun that will see limited use, but hey, its an investment right? What do you think?
Shaun_300
Dang that's a great price! I'd be jumping on it if I were you, if you can afford it of course. Only thing is the ammo may be a bit pricey. I know it is for my .300 short mag, $29.99 for Winchester 180gr powerpoints and Remington Core-lokt 150s, and around $35.99 for Winchester Supreme Ballistic Tip 180s. wtnhunt
I really like the brownings and that is a good price, but dont know if I would go with the wssm chambering. Ammo price and availability are a factor for me when looking at new gun purchases. Might want to check out this thread over at jesses http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=163722. In case you are not able to see the link Howdy BDOG.......No I would not buy another 223 WSSM, when I bought the one I got I knew I made a mistake, but what the heck lol. I use 64 gr bullets out of the 223 WSSM it sure kills coyotes no problem. Only problem is a fouling barrel with Win ammo factory ammo, it sucks. Accuracy is not the best in the west either. Stick with your 243, I'm going back to a 22-250 or the old swift.
