Treeing Mr. Coon

We got a warmer January day a couple weeks ago, so my dad and I packed up one of my dogs and his young female and we went out chasing Mr. Ringtail. The dogs (or us for that matter) hadn't been out for over a month so we we're looking forward to it.

Got one treed on the first cut, then the dogs got really excited on the next turn out. Ended up with two Slick trees (empty) then they found a den and we thought we saw the coons fur sticking out of a hole at the very top. One last cut and we had one up in 5 minutes!

The whiter colored male dog is sired by GRNITECH BOBS OHIO BUTCHER, he did some winning in his day. Dam, is a GRNITECH the goes back to HillBilly Mac.

The blanket back female is out of GRNITECH Waltz' RoadBlock and a female that goes back to the Butcher dog. My whole kennel is Butcher stock, love the independence!!

Took them two again the other night, seen 6 coon! More Pics,

Last drop, Took them a short while but Teddy found a big old Den (even got a pic of him sticking his head in the tree lol), and Sally came to it and then left and got Split treed deeper and had the coon.
