PotashRLS
I buckled under the pressure and bought that Browning A-Bolt II in the .223 WSSM. It has that nice dark grained wood and a matte barrel. Gander Mountain had it for $349.99 NIB. I had a $10 off card in my wallet and we were out the door for $358 and change:D. A buddy of mine is really getting good at reloading so we're gonna work up some loads and keep a good eye on the potential fouling issue that this cartridge has a reputation for. We will break the barrel in first and fireform some brass at the same time. Anyone have any advice on this cartridge?

Guest ronin
I do not have the 223 wssm but I do have the 243 WSSM. I found it to be one of the most functional medium size game killer I have ever had. The extra velocity I get out of the little fat round makes the difference. The fat cartridge can be difficult to load with certain bullets but I am almost exclusively a Barnes reloader so I have few problems if any.
