Used to guys in there would do a little convict justice and he'd go the route of Jeffrey Dahmer. Now, you can't count on him being so much as looked at twice. When I hear things like that, it brings out the Daddy in me and I'd really like to see him alone in the woods for a while. nativetexan Posted January 31, 2008 Report Share Posted January 31, 2008 This type of stuff has been going on since humans were humans, so I don't blame society "and what it has come to" on such things. I learned early on that I when I read things like this it angered me to the point that I could not function. It is truly a sad situation, and the best thing that we could all do for these children is see that the parents are brought to justice, and punished accordingly. Turn your anger into motivation to put the right people on the carpet who are going to push stiffer penalties for such crimes. It is the least we can do for the children. There is no better satisfaction than knowing the system worked and such offenders paid the ultimate price. Keep track of these stories and listen for the outcome. If the outcome is lenient and the product of some sort of loophole, at that point it would be time to publicly raise the bull**** flag. I'm sorry, but weeping mothers does not drive home a point either. You need seriously angry people who have channeled their anger into motivation to do the right thing, and show offenders that if they break the law in such manners, that they will face a modern day legal lynch mob. It is still a right in this country to publicly call b.s. on our leadership, and district attorneys fall in that category. We are only pawns if we let ourselves be pawns.....
