Good News!

After a four hour wait to see my surgeon (yes, I said 4 hours) my doctor's protege, in a very heavy Turkish accent says:

"You still in the first year of your surgery, yes?"

I say "yes, my surgery was in May"

He says: "Is very good, I feel and see no recurrence of your disease. We like to see you in 6 to 12 weeks during the first year of your surgery, so we see you in 6 to 12 weeks. Nice to see you today."

Four hour wait $183.15 (per diem rate), 2 minute exam $275.00 (insurance covers), new appointment for March 8th $0.00---a little peace of mind for 3 months.....

PRICELESS!

Is Perrysburg still above water? blush.gifgrin.gif

I've got a better idea, why don't you meet me up on Kelley's Island, and we can go from there. I've played that Maumee rodeo, and the only thing I got was elbow to elbow crowds and 2 or 3 pounds of snagged lead. crazy.gifgrin.gif

Thanks a bunch folks. I go to see my endocrinologist tomorrow. Blood work will tell a better story. I think I get an ultrasound done too.
