Bowtech_archer07
I've played basketball ever since I can remember. I would love to be in the NBA and playing the game that I love.

Chrud
410 Wing Sprints. It takes insane talent to wheel a 800+ HP sprint car over 140 MPH sideways and 3-wide in corners with no help from anyone to tell you where anyone is. All the while having to pull tear-offs to see where the heck you are.
Guest Finn
You guys are wimps.......... Golf makes common sense, doesn't it....unless you're Brett Favre, a golfer has a much longer playing life than a football player....much less long term physical damage, too Oh yeah......I'm a 5'9" white guy....golf is my only hope

BowJoe
Baseball for sure. It was my favorite sport as a kid and they have guaranteed contracts. And the season ends just in time for deer hunting season. Golf was a close second, you could have a longer career and still make big money as an old guy. Yeah and if you're a Cubs player you might as well enjoy Turkey season too. Their season's over before it starts. And do we have to go through this debate every time? How many golfers, basketball players, football players, hockey players or baseball players sit in 125 degrees for 4 hours with no timeouts and going 190 mph? I know people say that the cars do the work but so do the clubs, bats, sticks and balls. You can't play any sport without equipment. Just ask any pro athlete in the stick and ball sports if they can race a car and they'll tell you it's as much if not more of a sport. And if it's not a sport or those guys ain't athletes then why do pro stick and ball athletes not go to NASCAR after they retire or can't play the sport anymore. Because it takes talent like any other sport. You either have it or don't.
Strut10
Nascar's not a sport. I went with golf- even if I was the worst guy on the tour- I'm still getting paid to golf! Agreed. NASCAR ain't a sport. more like a choreographed soap opera. That being said......if golf's a sport.......so is chess. I think I'd have to go with baseball. Hockey's a lot more fun.....but my old, aching bones........ Of course, if everyone else can say NASCAR.....I'd give my left ......ummmm.......leg.......to drive a nitro funny car just 1320 feet once. :void(0)'>
Rhino
Golf here too. Earn a paycheck playing tournaments for about as long as you want to. Play all over the world if you want to. During the winter months you can still play in the woods.
Tecumseh
Baseball, nothing like getting paid a ton of money to play a kids game and the season ends just in time for hunting season.

Ravin R10 man
I wouldn't play any of them! sports is a "pastime" for entertainment value. I never have followed any of it. I was too busy producing food right out of High School...something that was important to humanity's existance.

They are the reason the rest of us pay more for products and services provided, well that and greed. People tend to listen to what they say just because they are celebrities. So, as for the original question, I'd say basketball just because of the athleticism required. Those skills could be handy in other ways during one's life. But that's a big "if".
