muggs
I'm calling it the "pikey express.":D It's something I've been meaning to buy for a few years. I know a pretty secluded area of a river that has huge pike thoughout the year. It's almost impossible to get to with any kind of boat other than a conoe and those are hard to fish from so this is my solution. I'll start posting pic of the pike I nail from it this March. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21276-cat360010&id=0011332315391a&navCount=1&podId=0011332&parentId=cat360010&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=UH&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat360010&hasJS=true
craig mack
Nice!!! I used a float tube one time on a lake that is catch and release only. We were catching 20 inch large mouths and they were pulling us around in the water. I cant imagine hooking into a big pike in one, especially with your legs in the water. Make sure you get the scuba flippers for your feet.

Tominator
Sweet. I hope you have a good dry suit, cuz water in March is going to be freakin' cold!
muggs
In the early spring, I've seen some big musky there too. Should be fun getting taken for a ride. But I did buy the flippers and an anchor for it so I should be OK. It's going to be chilly in March, but I should be used to it. There's actually some good bank area I can get out on and warm up if I have to. I'll be sure to post pics.

jerdanmagic
Great purchase! I have a U shaped tube that I got from BPS. They are so much easier to get in and out of than the round ones. I can't wait for the water to start warming up, cause I love me some tube fishin'! Shaun_300
Awesome! Get a 20lb pike on the end of your line and you'll end up going for a tube ride to the other side of the lake! :D:D
