Squirrelhunter91
I can't get this thing to pop open. I put it together like the instructions said to and I even spent a good 20 minutes on the phone with Ameristep. I still can't get it to work. Is there something I'm missing here? popgun
You must not be holding your mouth right. As last resort, unzip the entry fly and crawl inside. With the palm of your hand, push out the top hub and then repeat on the rest. What I don't quite understand is that you said "I put it together like the instructions said to." I don't remember anything to put together on the Brickhouse. Mine came folded in the carton. ....popgun
Squirrelhunter91
Well.. that explains it. I was the second owner and it was completely disassembled. I had to put the rods in the slots.
AdvantageTimberLou
You will find out Joe that Ameristep customer service. One of THE best in the hunting industry. Cindy there has always answered my questions! Good luck with that brickhouse. Great blind!
popgun
Check again and see if the rods and hub assembly is not in backwards. They will only snap out so far, and if they are reversed I could see why they would not snap open. From the inside the rods should fold outward, as the hub is drawn inward. ....popgun
horst
I have the baby brickhouse and had to get new poles for mine, if you havent got it up yet double check the poles, theres actually 2 different length poles in them, I got one in the wrong slot to start with and had a lotta problems. Mines really hard to get started, once I get the top pulled out it gets a lot easier to do the sides.
