How about them GIANTS??

When he started off the field time had expired had it not? The play clock in the last few minutes of the game was doing some screwy stuff resetting, and I am pretty sure it went to 0 then was reset to 1 second after a good number of people were on the field.

What I saw was the clock stopped at 2 seconds, then ran down to 0 and then 1 second put back on.

Pretty poor sportsmanship by Bellicheat. Great to see the Giants win! One of the best Super Bowls I've ever watched. Eli has grown up a lot in the last month.

I think that the clock was stopped at 2 seconds then Bellicheck walked on the field with 2 seconds still to go.....then he was on the field and it was at zero.......then he started walking away and it was at 1 second. They put one second on the clock way before he hit the tunnel.

I personally thought it was a little disrespectful and un classy or whatever. But hey what does anyone who was rooting for the Giants care......they only had one thing on there mind and they could have given two ..... less what Bellicheck was doing.

Bellicheck was not the first one leaving the field, there was a crowd. Sure he could have gone back to watch the kneel down, but he did walk over and congratulate Coughlin.

JMO, but dont see really where what he did was unsportsman like. Had he not congratulated Coughlin and headed for the tunnel I would agree that it was not sportsmanlike.

Thats what I seen also but so many people hate Bellichek (for good reason) that they will knock him every chance they get. Jmo

You are correct, HOWEVER, if you watch the handshake at midfield, the HEAD REF is clearly in Belichecks face telling him the game was not over and he needed to return to his sidelines. BB simply ignored him. Simply put, he was being a sore loser. He had no problems running up scores on overmatched teams all year long, but when his team got their butt kicked on the biggest stage he could not even stand on the sideline until the game was over. How is what he did any different then what Randy Moss did in Minnesota a few years back when he left with 2 seconds early? Moss was labeled a quitter, a baby, selfish, etc.

Dont hardly consider my self unsportsmanlike, but if a ref gets in my face as I was congratulating an opponent, I am liable to walk away and do as I wish too. It is your opinion as is that of many that he was just being a sore loser. Maybe, maybe not, bottom line is that the game was over.

I really try not to label people, as it tends at some point to begin to come across as bashing, and really accomplishes nothing at all.

Totally agree, but because he is so successful, so many people hate him and will criticize him at every turn.

Congrats to the Giants though, they really stepped it up on defense, I was surprised. The Pats defensive coordinator should be fired however for not double-teaming Burriss in the endzone; everyone and their mother saw that the pass was going to Burriss and yet they left him single covered against a mush smaller corner. You think they would have learned something from the Packers game where they were ignorant enough to stick with one-on-one coverage against him and got burned.

I have always been a Brady fan and was hoping to see perfection but the Giants did a great job and they deserve it.

People don't like him because he is a cheater and classless. Simple as that. His cheating history has been documented with factual evidence, and it's likely to get worse once Congress is done with it. He made it a point this year to try and stick it to everyone by blowing helpless teams out of the water just becuase he was mad he got caught. Then, his team chokes in the biggest game of the year, thanks in large part to his decision to go for it on 4th and 13 instead of kicking a FG and the little man can't even go back to his sidelines to finish up the game. It's like this, his team went back out on the field for the last play, their coach should have been on the sidelines. This has nothing to do with how great a coach he is, he hasn't won a thing since 2004 and it's likely he was cheating then too. We will find out soon enough. He just had one of the best teams ever assembled and didn't even win the superbowl.

Ok, first of all, lots of teams steal signals, he was just the only one who got caught. Secondly, I think congress should focus their priorities on things that really matter, like the economy, instead of having a senator focusing his time and taxpayer $$$ on an issue that was already handled by the league. And I dont think there is a limit on how many points you can score in a game. The game doesnt end when a team gets up by a certain amount of points, and it is the defenses job to get the stop. So when he is "sticking it" to a team he is simply just having his team play football the way they do and making the defense try to do what their suppose to do, stop them. I do agree that they choked, big time. I do not agree though, that what he did, walking off the field with one second left, was poor sportsmanship. The time had already expired, and they put one second back on the clock after he had congradulated Coughlin. If you listen to what some of the Patriots players said, a majority of them were already on in the tunnel, but had to come back out to play the last play. Now if he had walked off without congradulating Coughlin, then it would be a different story.
