lil hunter
I was lookin at Remingtons website today, and noticed they no longer list the 700 ADL rifle. I'm assuming they discontinued them, does anybody know why?

bearcat
Re: Rem 700 ADL, discontinued? The Model 700 SPS is replacing the older ADL. The SPS has a newer stock design and a hinged floorplate. There is also an SPS with a detachable clip. The SPS Stainless is replacing the older 700 BDL Stainless Synthetic. The new stocks on these rifles have rubber molded into the grip and forearm instead of checkering, and they also come with the Limbsaver R-3 recoil pad. The new 700 XCR(Xtreme conditions rifle) has the same stock as the SPS, It has Stainless Steel metal coated with Plasma Vapor Deposition. This new coating is supposed to make the metal rust proof and more scratch resistant. I also noticed that Remington did not list the Model 700 Stainless Fluted Sendero rifle anymore. I wonder what will replace it?
