redbeard
I know they really have increased the population around the piedmont area. The mountains have always had turkeys. I see them all the time in the Nathalia Forest around Cherokee. All the old timey turkey hunting books actually revolved most stories around hunting in the eastern section. Guest CuttNRun
Re: turkey huntin in NC I live here in the mountains (WNC). The turkeys are growing in numbers every year. The piedmont has had good numbers for a few years. Basically anywhere but the coast is doing good right now. Where ya thinking bout going?
