punkinslinger
I see it didn't take Stewart long to get back into the bumping and banging at Daytona yesterday.
BowJoe
I wouldn't go so far as to blame Stewart for this. He might be to blame for the initial wreck but the aftermath is all Busch. I hope Busch starts out the year with negative 100 points and minus $50,000. He needs to be parked in my opinion and given a few lectures on proper driving etiquette. JJL
Let me see if I understand this; When asked " what's your favorite track? " Bristol/Richmond always win..............If you ain't rubbin you ain't racing. Love the short track contact. Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson touch anyone and it's a crime. I guess it depends on who does the rubbing............seems a little hypocritical.

Rubbing at 200+ MPH at Daytona isn't the thing to be doing ... Now Bristol,, that's the place for rubbing.. heck it's the place for a smash fest .. :D
JJL
LOL.. Rubbing at 200+ MPH at Daytona isn't the thing to be doing ... Why not??...........They're professionals aren't they. Give me the MPH that rubbing gets dangerous.
Guest Turtle
those that blame Tony for this one look at the replay again. He was on the outside the whole time with nowhere to go.

Chrud
Also hearing Tony might have taken a swing at Kirk in the hauler. It was a racing deal. Tony was coming fast on the outside and Kirk drifted up. The demo derby after the wreck wasn't necessary.

AdvantageTimberLou
Why not??...........They're professionals aren't they. Give me the MPH that rubbing gets dangerous. You ever drive that fast? You ever drive a race car before? Professionals yes and they know that at 190 MPH you don't want to tap into a guy at those speeds. The faster you go the more unstable those cars get at those speeds. They have downforce but when your in a sideways slide kiss that downforce goodbye and hang on for the ride!!! That is why they have restrictor plates, to keep somewhat reasonable speeds. 200 and beyond could be danger for the fans as well as these cars can and do get airborne and could climb up and over that fence. Speed is nice but you need to respect it and the others around you!!
texastrophies
I don't see where TS did anything wrong. He came up on the outside of bush and got pinched, then bush did what must come natural to him, use his car to try and make a point. Hearing on espn that Tony smacked him in the hauler, apparently that comes natural to bush also.:D:D btw, I am not a Tony fan.
tedicast
From, what I saw of the incident, it looked to me like Tony had the line, and Kurt came up into him. As for Tony taking a swing at Kurt Busch, who can blame him. I think we would all get in line for a chance to do that!!!...LOL
Bowhntr
I'm not really a fan of either Tony or Kurt but I have to say that the "on track" portion of this dust up was probably because of the new car. There were two identical situations last night in the shootout. The vision out of the cockpit just isn't as good and the closure rate is wicked fast compared to the old configuration. Now, with that said, I think the entire #2 team should be ejected from Daytona immediately and suspended indeffinatley. Might let them back in by week 3 at Vegas. Why the entire team? Simple, you knock the entire team AND the sponsor out, somebody will get Kurt's attention. You let Miller Lite tell Penske to get control of his driver or they are pulling their money because they can't afford to be parked and you will see a whole new Kurt Busch. I've seen a dirt modified almost go over the fence at just under 100 MPH.
BowJoe
From what I understand, Kurt was saying he couldn't hear what Tony was saying and Tony tried to open his ears up a bit with a little head rattle. Nothing harmful at all. Besides, it would take a big head rattle to clear Kurt's ears. Have you seen the size of those things? You can get some serious reception with those things. I'm talking digital.
Guest Turtle
Poor Punkin, looks like the only place with bad reception is between your ears. Every one else seems to have it right.:D
