texastrophies
Didn't get to watch it, but sounds like Jr. won the bud shootout this evening. :D:D
Bowtech_archer07
I just heard that as well. With that Hendrick ride.. he's gonna be good, no more failed engines for him!!! :D:D:D
PA_Spike_King
Yep, my wife and I watched it and Jr looks like a man on a mission this year IF he can keep this up all year.
Nick
Yup, he led over half the race and Jimmy Johnson pushed him past toyota tony for the win. Definately had the car to beat.

OJR
I knew you had to cover their butt somehow! At least neither of them were #1!
Nick
LOL, I don't think he could have won without Jimmy Orlan. I'm not a fan either, but I must admit that Jimmy is probably the only way he won that race. It was also cool to see Jimmy come and congratulate him in victory lane afterwards. Good to see new teammates working well together on the Chevy side of things.

Chrud
Pretty awesome! JJ gave Junior a heck of a push for the win. Great to see him pass Toyota Tony on the outside for the win!
snapper
I would bet that won't happen in the 500...JJ or Gordon will hang Jr. out to dry to win. That race was only 70 lap and prob. at least 15 caution laps...so to lead and win a 140 mile race is much different than 500 miles. Jr. always runs good at the restrictor plate races...I'm still holding judgement for his season. Glad he got the feeling of victory lane...shame it don't mean anything other than a selfasteem boost. VermontHunter
I would bet that won't happen in the 500...JJ or Gordon will hang Jr. out to dry to win. Would you expect any less from anyone running up front in the 500 regardless of who they are ?? ...
Guest Turtle
Great race, Jr dominated and yes JJ did give him the push at the end but he led 46 other laps without him. To say Jr. wouldn't have won without JJ is shortchanging him a bit IMO. But loved seeing them work together. For Hendricks to have all 4 cars finish top 6 in an elite field of 23 cars, impressive. Will they always work together, yes, unless it's better for them not too. After all JG didn't like losing last year and it being to JJ didn't make it much better. Bottom line if you're not a Hendricks driver, you're in for a long season.:D:D

Would you expect any less from anyone running up front in the 500 regardless of who they are ?? ... Exactly. Plus, it would be pretty hard for JJ or Jeff to "hang Junior out to dry" when he's pulling them around the track. If that same scenario happens at the end of the 500, you probably get the same result. JJ isn't going to drop his teammate to help push a Toyota to the win.
