hutchies
We went out to a practice range yesterday and hit it up. 3 of us went. One of the guys shot Semi pro for a while. Can surely tell why. Even after prob 5 years of not shooting 3d he shot 11 10's and 4 8's on 15 targets. The other shot pretty well too. Yardage estimation killed me on about 3 targets and I made one huge mental arrow resulting in a 0. On top of it all I forgot my binos so I felt like I was shooting blind even though I knew where most of the rings were. Long story short I didn't feel to bad about the way I shot considering I move to BT this year and am shooting a totally new rig. Gotta get my yardage down. We ran thru it a 2nd time just as a confidence booster. We would get out numbers in our mind and then range it. I was off by an average of about 2 yards short. okiedog
Well... at least you have got a chance to go out. I still don't have my bow sighted in yet. I was hoping to get it done today, but its still a little windy. Maybe I can get it done this evening. My wife wanted to shoot the T.H.E. warm up next weekend, but she is laid up sick in bed today so I'll have to see what happens. Bad thing is, I bought a new sight yeterday, so in a couple of weeks I'am starting all over again.
hutchies
Yep.........I start a indoor 3d shoot tomorrow that runs for 10 weeks. I'm getting her all dialed in but man it truely feels like starting over. Luckily though 90% of mine were low or high so at least no rights and lefts. Bowtech_archer07
That's awesome. I got my bow out Friday because I was home and the weather was awesome. Never missed by more than 2 inches from 20-40 yards. I was pretty happy considering I hadn't shot my bow in a little over a month. The first 3d shoot I have a chance to go to is the 24th of Feb. It's outdoors, so don't know if I'm going yet, it's gonna have to warm up from the 7 degrees it is right now. There is another one March, i'm sure I will make it too.
