unioncountyslayer
Mods, please feel free to sticky this if you see fit... Many of you on the forums know Scott (preacherman). I have become good friends with him over the last year or so. He has been asked, and felt the call of the Lord to minister to professional fishermen through an organization called Fishers of Men. He has been asked to co-direct the Northern Mississippi division of the outreach ministry. In a nutshell his job/ministry is to reach out to lost souls on the Fishers of Men's National Tournament Trail and share the gospel of Christ. Scott is way to humble a man to ever ask for money, so I thought I'd reach out on his behalf. His position would be completely self-supporting, meaning he needs to raise all the necessary funds on his own. He has roughly a month to come up with $3000 to support his ministry. So I'm just asking, if you have anything extra you could send to Scott to help out, I know it would be greatly apprectiated. It's also a tax-deductible contribution, so you could help out a fellow fourm member, and help yourself at tax time next year as well. If you can't help with the funding, Scott is a big believer in prayer as well, and would love for prayer support also. If you would like to send monies to help Scott realize this great opportunity and call to further the Kingdom, send me a PM and I will give you the payment details and mailing address. preacherman did not ask, or even know that I was going to do this, but just thought it needed to be done. Thanks for any and all help!

wtnhunt
Happy to offer prayers Scott, but think right now what we can spare will have to go to donations to help the tornado victims in this area. Sure you can understand.

Missilelock
I would love to help with some financial support, but this is a terrible time of year for me as mud season is on us in the woods. Our Christian Bowhunters organization has a man doing similar duties in the pro- archery tournaments as you describe here & its a wonderful ministry. His name is Dr. Wally Harder & he would make a good & encouraging contact for Scott. He can be contaced through Christian Bowhunters org.- Lane
