Or at least admit defeat on one of my predictions. All along I've contended that Hillary would win the Democratic nomination. Well...

Not only is Obama currently leading in delegates after sweeping the Virginia, Maryland and D.C. primaries, but there are only a small handful of states left where Hillary is currently leading in the polls. AND Obama is pulling in far more campaign contributions than Hillary. Looks like it might be the end of the trail for her highness.

But then again, remember she isn't dead until the legs curl up under the house and ruby slippers pop off.

Oh, I'm not counting her out at all. In fact, I'll still stand by my prediction that she'll win. It's just looking a bit shaky right now. But with her bag of dirty tricks, who knows?

One thing Obama has going for him is the fact that he was basically a nobody when the Clinton's were in the Whitehouse and controlled the intelligence services. Therefore it's unlikely they kept copies of any secret FBI/CIA/NSA files on him like they did on so many others.

Watched the debate last night and Obama clearly shellacked Clinton all the way through. Of course he did it entirely on style and not on substance. But hey, for the far-left Democratic base, that's all he needs. He just needs to keep repeating "get out of Iraq now; raise taxes on corporations and the wealthy; massively increase government funding for healthcare, education, minorities; and the current administration is the worst in this nation's history" and he's got the nomination locked up.

Barring something surprising (some type of dirty trick from Clinton?) between now and next Tuesday's primaries in Ohio and Texas, it will most likely be Obama vs. McCain in November.

Was Bill Clinton also not pretty well about counted out somewhere at some point near the end prior to his winning the nomination before he went on to become president?

"Dirty tricks", LMBO, we all know that politicians all play fair:rolleyes:.

Obama had better watch his back. People have a way of getting whacked (accidentally of course) when her highness doesn't get what she wants. Either way, we're kinda screwed. Simply because people follow who sounds best. So true is the saying: You don't have to know what you are talking about, as long as you sound like you know what you're talking about.
