fly
Randy that's an impressive fish! You seem to have the touch for trophy fishing/hunting.I never really got into fishing here in Illinois. I've got a 5lb bass on the wall, and I've wrestled some 10 lb cats, but never caught the passion like I did with hunting. However, I took the family to Rocky Mountain Natioanl Park a few years ago and learned to fly fish with my wife in the cold mountain streams and lakes. We both were hooked immediately. My favorite fish to catch (and release) is the greenback cutthroat trout. After years of being believed to be gone from our planet forever a small population was discovered in remote Colorado. Conservation efforts have now brought this beautiful species back from the brink of extinction.
Randy
Randy that's an impressive fish!Thank you, I spent alot of time on the water trying to get one that big. I think it took me 16-17 years of countless hours casting big baits, and more money than I care to think about.

It's not the trip that's so expensive though, it's the rods and tackle that add up in a hurry! I have baits that I haven't even thrown but, I just had to have them. I'm sure you can relate. I saw your fish post back in Nov. Looks like a pewaukee fish.

Tecumseh
I don't fish much since I moved back to Ohio Crappie,Smallies,Walleye. When I was in Florida I flats fished a lot for Snook,Reds,Tarpon,Bonefish,Sharks of course and when sea conditions permitted I'd run out to one of the many sunken wrecks and try for Cobia and Grouper.
