wtnhunt Posted January 13, 2005 Report Share Posted January 13, 2005 Got my new leaf river digital in this morning. Cabelas is great, was not supposed to get here until tomorrow or Monday. I am thinking about putting it out where I have our stealth cam at now, and moving the stealth cam to a lower activity area. Anyone got any tips on the leaf river cam? I hope you have better luck than me. If you remeber my story I bought one with some Christmas money then got another one for Christmas. The one I bought was broken--had to send it back. The other one I got I put it out in the field and checked it 10 days later--34 pics. But stupid me had the sensor set on picture setting and the camera set on video so i got nothing. finally figured out what i did wrong but have it working fine now. good luck--takes a little while to get use to all the functions but i think i've got it figured out now. if you have any questions let me know. did you get a couple flash cards for it? todd Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[/ QUOTE ] Todd, we have an old hp digital cam and have a couple compact flash cards for it. The directions are not really clear about the memory, the way I read them I thought you could install a card and empty the internal memory onto the card. Think I will buy either two 256 or one 512 mb card today at wal mart, got to get batteries too so I can get it out there this weekend.
