NS whitetail
I want to give my basement rec-room the nautical/hunting look when I am done with it. ( work in progress ) I got these two wooden lobster crates from a guy and I had to buy 4 hinges @ $1 each. Wooden lobster crates are a thing of the past now, we use plastic crates. I put them together and made an entertainment center. It's nothing fancy, but it adds to the nautical look that I want and it was cheap:D Here is a pic of plastic crates, they are so much better since they fit inside one another when empty, taking up less room on a boat. Guest Andrea
Looks cool. Got any of that old netting to drape across it? Maybe a couple of those buoy things??

aksheephuntress
...Yeah, I really like that...neat idea!...looks nice. I also like Andrea's suggestions of the netting and bouys. We have a friend that took nautical charts of their fishing grounds and plastered them all over the walls, as wallpaper. We have some of those old glass Japanese buoys hanging up, that we have found out floating.
