turkaholic
I was thinking of buying a new gun, and was wondering if anyone has any input on Charles Daly firearms. I wanted to add a pump to my arsenal. I was considering a Mossberg but have issues with a tang type safety. I currently use a Browning Gold 31/2" but was looking for a rainy day gun. They seem to be very low in cost and that makes me cautious.
wtnhunt
Looked at one in 20 gauge the other day at wal mart. Looked the gun over and shouldered it and it felt pretty solid, but I went on and bought a remington 870 youth gun, which was a bit more. Gun counter guy said the charles daly guns are decent guns though.
Leo
If you are getting a rainy day gun to turkey hunt with, make sure you can get a decent turkey choke for it.

The Charles Daly shotguns from what I understand do use the remchokes.
Guest bigbucksrule
i use a 12 ga charles daly with a .660 jellyhead and nitros and it is my everyday gun rain or shine. it kicks like a mule but you will not find a gun in the price range that is any better but that is my opinion
