Turkeygirl
What are you guys using in lerms of slings on your shotguns? I need a sling for my Mossberg 500 Bantam turkey gun. I was at Walmart yesterday and they price for a sling and then a pack of like the Uncle Mike swivels is rediculous, for that price I can order a nicer sling from Cabelas or somewhere else. I thought those Claw slings looked kinda nice...I dunno. My sling on my other gun is a heavy black nylon one with a grippy rubber coating on the shoulder size, it's not bad but it digs into my shoulder. So I'm looking for something kinda comfy, but not too bulky. So what slings are you using or recommend?
Leo
Get a Butler Creek Neoprene sling. Trust me, they are worth it.

wtnhunt
Use a cabelas padded super sling on my .270, wish I had one of them for all my guns, they run about $24 each http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0022098221956a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=padded+super+sling&N=4887&Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=padded+super+sling&noImage=0. Here is a link to a comparable sling to what I am using on my rifle from butler creek, comes with uncle mikes swivels http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0031394227219a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&No=54&noImage=0&Ntt=slings&Ntk=Products&QueryText=slings&Ntx=matchall&N=4887&Nty=1. My winchester turkey gun I am using a cheapy sling, need to replace it. Need to get a sling for my wifes new 870 shotgun that I just got her, but will have to get an end cap and a either a slip over end or will have to stud the stock. doubleA
I dont use rifle slings much but when it comes to turkey hunting when "running and gunning" I havent found anything better the the "Claw", it simply stays put on my shoulder and doesnt slip like the others. Here's one on a Benelli Nova I just painted using a digital pattern, you can see the sling just to the right of the tree trunk.
RangerClay
These are not cheap but they are simply awesome. I have tried Butler Creek and The Claw and they simply do not compare. If you do a search in the Equipment Room you will find a thread started by Norm Sauceman about these slings and you can read how much others like them. http://www.sloganoutdoors.com/
