And you really think they are going to be there long ..:rolleyes:

OK Chris, if you're not a NASCAR fan why do want this info anyhow .. ??? .. Just thought I'd ask since Tom failed too .. :D:D

'Cuz it's the superbowl of NASCAR. It's the only race I like to watch when it comes to NASCAR.

I think your mancard should at least be put on probation if you don't watch that and the Indy.

You may in fact be correct but it shows two different start times. My reservation on my receiver shows a 1300 start time so that's what I'll go by. Either way, add 30 mins to get past the pre race rundown before any actual racing starts. I can't wait to hear those magic words! "Boogity, boogity, boogity!!! Let's go racin' boys!!!" I think what I like most about NASCAR is the off track drama. What a very dramatic sport. LOL:eek:

Sprint bought Nextel 2 years ago and they finally agreed to change the name of the circuit this year to reflect the sponsor. I wish they would just change the name to something like the Petty Cup so their's some sort of yearly familiarity even if they change sponsor's a thousand times. By the way, it would be named after Lee Petty, the first guy to win the Daytona 500.

All Hendrick cars got pushed to the back. Should be a good one now, you never know though. :D

And where did you get this misinformation? Last I checked, Jimmy Johnson was starting 1st and Jr. was starting 3rd. They all changed engines twice but the first one was for the duel 150 and they only had to start at the back for that race, not the 500. The second time they changed engines was for the 500 but NASCAR allows all teams to change engines before the 500. No penalty there and all is well in the universe.:D

If its the only NASCAR race you watch, then thats a pretty bad choice. Tomorrow's coverage of the race is going to be at least 5 1/2 hours. If you only watch one race, I would suggest Richmond. ;)
