Exciting morning (pic)

Decided to go out calling 'yotes this morning from a couple treestands left up from archery season. About 15 minutes into the very first set-up a pair came in. One stood at about 125 yards and the other crossed at about 75 yards. Never could get a shot at the near one. Something in the way every time he stopped. But the one that stood and looked stood just a whisker too long. I believe if I were going to get into 'yote hunting for pelt money....I'd need to find a different gun. (You should see the other side!!) Yick!! :o

Whoa! I'll be waiting to see what Charlie thinks about this. Think your OTPG card just got put on probation.

You killed him too much?

:D

Seriously, good job Don. Wish I would have had a big caliber mag the other day when I had 2 yotes in the open at about 600 yards.

Yes, I would have tried.

Actually, Chris.........the gun I shot him with was a .220 Swift........ from on the porch. No magnum. I do own a couple non-magnums for to handle my light work. Wish I woulda had my 7-STW. It's about 4 lbs. lighter. :o
