str8shooter48
If he was still driving a Chevy I'd be saying the same. But he's not so. I jumped on the Stewart bandwagon his second year in Nascar. He's a darn good driver too bad he's doing it in a Toyota.

I highly doubt Gibbs had any imput from the drivers on their switch.
BowJoe
The only difference in the cars is the power plant. They are not real toyotas or chevys or fords or dodges. It's just a label put on the car like a sponsor's sticker.

Seems that Toyota has a pretty big advertising budget. What really pisses me off. Here in Western NY. the two biggest employers are GM and Ford. Then you hear the ads for Toyota being the official cars of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. After hearing this for the past few years you'll never see my GMC or Pontiacs in the parking lot of either of these teams. Anything but a Toyota in victory lane is fine with me. Sorry for the rant just venting. As far as the Sabres logo for my avatar I'm still a fan but not a participating fan. Still free on TV. That's good Orlan ,, you have your opinion bud.. we all know you don't like Gordon and Johnson, 2 people that you've never met before and that you don't like Toyotas ,,,, but we don't need to hear it in about every sentence you type out ..
str8shooter48
I think the Toyota's are just as bad as JJ or JG! LMBO!!!! At least JJ/JG have a respectable nameplate on their Piece of Crap of Tommorow. A much as I can't stomach Kurt Busch or Montoya I'll pull for either of them before a Toyota. Better yet let the fued betweeen Stewart and Busch continue, maybe thay can't take each other out early and drag a couple more Toyotas with them. Guest Finn
Back during WWII, I wonder if their were any Americans who actually thought that one day there would be so many Americans being so supportive of Japanese products. Probably not. I spent 23 years in the Air Force, so please don't give me a 'I need to support USA talk.' If Detroit would build cars to be as reliable as Toyota and Honda, I'd go buy one. I've owned a Chevy car, 2 Ford cars, 1 Ford pickup and an Oldsmobile. Since I couldn't afford to constantly fix them on my Air Force salary, I'm sticking with Toyota and Honda. Sorry. Guest Andrea
This is why I stay away from NASCAR. Conversations like these. You guys have more drama in your NASCAR races and posts than in SOAP OPERAS!!!!! It's laughable.
