toddyboman
Went for a ride tonight....Went across a bridge and noticed 6 eagles in 2 trees.4 adults and 2 juveniles. So here is a few pics..... Pics aren't the best.....but parked on a bridge with oncoming traffic made it a challenge to take pics.
Shaun_300
Great pics Todd! Sure wish we had more of them up here. In my lifetime I've only seen 1 baldy and 1 golden up here.
wtnhunt
Cool you got pics of them again Todd. That pic with the closer view of the immature bird looks a lot like what I was seeing here last year around this time of the year. Sure wish I could have gotten some pics of it. toddyboman
Now that is cool. How common are they in your area? this time of year VERY common.... we have several lakes/rivers around that hold them.... Probably saw a dozen or so over the weekend. That was just normal driving going from place to place....Really wasn't out looking for any except for these.

elnor
Fantastic pics, thanks for sharing! We have quite a few eagles that winter on Oklahoma lakes and I've been on an eagle watch before, but fall 2007 was the first time I saw eagles flying over my hunting area in southeastern Oklahoma. I saw one on two different days. It struck me that he/she was hunting at the same time I was. It was one of those incredible experiences that really hit home since it wasn't too many years back, certainly within my lifetime, that they were a rare site indeed around these parts. gitcha_some
man we almost have too many around here lol, They seem to like road kill more than fish here, in fact ive only ever seen a couple actually dive for a fish before, most of the time they just steal food from ospreys
