Holy schmokes...I was glued to the TV, even got a slap to the shoulder from Sarah...didn't even break my concentration. They really did a number on that young lady. Cook is no lounge act, and I come from the 80's when music was real good (I was in my 20's then). These guys will do fine and make plenty of $$$$$ for all. They are very talented. I have my doubts that both will sell lots of CD's and make lots of money. I think Cook does have a shot but so far AI contestants/winners have not faired well off the AI stage. Think back to ALL the AI winners and contestants........HOW many have actually had big hits.........Carrie Underwood , Chris Daughtry (but he didn't win) and Peckler all have done well......But most have done very little actually. Dude...one won an Oscar, you're forgetting Clarkson and Aiken (huge tool). They're doing alright, some like that Fantasia girl have fallen flat but overall the winners do pretty good. Don't forget abooot Bucky Covington, he's doing pretty good of late too. So is Elliott Yamin. I'm betting Kristy Lee Cook will do OK in the country world too. Had to look up those two people.....NEVER heard of them. The funny thing most that have done something have been COUNTRY singers. Silver hair guy...and the Ruben guy... BUT hardly ANY of them have had big record hits. Seems country fans are pretty loyal. Josh Gracin has done OK too, he had a few hits out, and has some new music just out recently. You don't need a smash hit to make good cash. Taylor Hicks (grey hair guy) is doing just fine without a lot of airtime, his tours are sold out and he's booked all year. He's really has the best stage presence. He's also been offer some acting as well. He's making a good living. Heck we all know its who writes your songs and not always the singers. Underwood is good but even she is a bit over rated IMO, she's a bit stiff on stage but looks real nice. Somebody is writing some great stuff for her and Daughty too, which makes hits for them. Now when they start writing their own stuff I'll be impress. Cook can and David A. will need help and I still think they will both do well maybe not with huge hits as others but time will tell, otherwise they should make a decent living as their lifes change.
