Leo
Take the crust off a piece of white bread. Take about a forth of that piece and put a teaspoon of cayenne pepper on it. Roll the bread up like a capsule around the cayenne pepper. Swallow it like a pill. Don't chew it!!! It'll take about 20minutes but it will help some. wildside
Neil-Med sinus irrigation. Most any pharmacy carries the kit (~ $12), and it really does help!!! Two times a day, mix a little packet with some warm water and rinse out your sinuses. Trust me, I've been using it for a while now, and there is a noticable difference. Good luck! aksheephuntress
...First, off, give yourself an enema. I am serious. ...Then ,any of those hot-sauce, jalepeno ideas do work great....I like to drink a glass of water w/ cayenne pepper mixed in.(wrapped in bread sounds like a neat idea!) ......Then try taking massive C, echinacea, horehound, and an entire thing of raw garlic. ....Good luck!! BowJoe
Just make sure you brush your teeth afterwards. Been hearing quite a few folks talkin about enemas to cure just about everything. Wonder why that seems to work........ Hey, this time it didn't come from me. I'm innocent on this one. But I totally agree. It flushes the bad bacteria and bad waste that's infected with the bad bacteria. You basically empty your digestive system and allow the good bacteria to grow that fights the ailments in the immune system. How many times has food poisoning made people sick? All the time right? So it only makes sense that your digestive process could help you as much as it might hurt you. It gives you a fresh start and takes away the nausea. All I know is that it helped me and I would rather have the embarrassment of doing the enema than be as miserable as you are when you have the flu. Only the people with their minds in the gutter would have a problem with the method.

Guest coydog316
Thanks guys! I really don't know about the enema thing, it seems as Andrea says, I would rather my snot come out of my nose! I have been irrigating my nose with warm salt water but it seems to not be working. I am grouchy! I hate being sick. The two hat method seems to be the option I will probably take. Now, anybody have some good homebrew? Or you could just hit CVS and grab a case of Schlitz.

aksheephuntress
Enema 101 ......Now, there's different TYPES of enemas out there...no 2 enemas are alike. ...There's the high enema, and the low enema...depending how far up the digestive track you want to cleanse. ....Then, there are saline enemas, aloe-vera enemas, coffee enemas(that one works real good)......and wheat grass juice enemas.......the possibilities are endless. ...Once you overcome the initial fecal phobia of the idea, (oh, yeah...I forgot the Fleets enema)....life will really start to have that rosy outlook again. ...Now, it is pretty easy to obtain the specific directions for self-administering an enema...(I gtta go fix lunch,now)...and I wish you luck.....I hope you are feeling better, soon...having that flu, I know, is no fun!! ........oh, and there is a Wild Turkey enema.
