Guest adrenaline_junky
I have never personally used one. But I do know some people who have and they have nothing but good things to say about them. It might be worth looking into.
xOZx
An awesome call! Highly recomended! The cherry is just an unbelievable sounding call! You will not be disappointed. If anything is wrong, just contact Mike Pentecost at Woodhaven and he will make it right. Stands by his product just as a custom call maker should. Strut10
...........just as a custom call maker should. Woodhaven makes a high quality call, for certain. But "custom"?? No.
xOZx
But "custom"?? No. I disagree: http://www.woodhavencustomcalls.com/ "At WoodHaven Custom Calls, building calls is not just a hobby, it is REAL life! Either my hands or those of another professional touch every call. Our livelihood depends upon our ability to put our names and reputations into every call that goes into a WoodHaven package. We are not trying to come out with a new gimmick and hyped up call all the time, just time tested, great quality calls that have been proven to work in the field and on the stage! We ask that you not settle for imitations and over marketed calls that don't perform, but to try a WoodHaven and see what a difference the realism of a quality call can do for you. So if you want to Get Results, get a WoodHaven and Get Real! "

The word custom means different things to different people. When you start making calls on an assembly line then put them in packages to be sold, thats not MY idea of a custom call. They make a great call, but I personaly would not refer to one of them as a "custom call". Definition of "custom" in the dictionary say "made-to-order"

Guest bowhunter56
I agree with okiedog,,,my calls are made at the request of the customer,,I don't make them and have them laying around, to sell when i get an order...

When I call Darrin Dawkins or Marlin Watkins or Dad White or Lamar Williams and tell them "I want a boxcall made with a walnut lid and poplar box and 20 checks on the lid and sides................" and they, in turn build it to my specs and in some cases call me and run the call over the phone to see if it suits...........that's a custom in my mind. If I can order it outta Cabela's or Midwest or Bass Pro.......it ain't a custom. That's what I was alluding to. Opinions may vary.
xOZx
I have no interest in debating it....agree to disagree.
