Switched to a drop away

After my bow doing some funky things and shooting all over the place without me changing anything in the setup, I went down to Targeteers last night in jersey and had them install a Trophy Ridge Drop Zone on it. Now she spits arrows out like darts. I only shot 3 at 10 yards, but all 3 were within a quarter, touching eachother. Needless to say, I'm impressed. After looking at the rest I had on there, an NAP Quiktune 1000, it seems that the right fork had gotten itself lower than the left somehow and it was wearing away with vane contact, thus sending my arrows flying all over the place. Now I just have to re-sight the pins and then shoot BH's. Can't wait for the Texas trip.

Drop Zone Sounded Good

Interesting..... I've been linking about getting away from the whisker bisquit.

I was thinking about getting a drop away to replace my whisker biscuit rest too, however so far with my new bow I've been able to have 1" groups at 40 yards with it. I'd do it for speed, but I'm shooting up close to 300 fps through a chronograph now. If things ever changed I'd probably go to a Drop Zone, unless I was given a different brand rest first.

Well I was gonna agree with you guys b/c I had never had a problem with them till tonight, I was shooting a video league and my third shot went way left(missed the screen) thought maybe I just lost concentration and put my arm down during the shot then after another 2 shots it did it again took it out to the bow-tec and after a liddle fiddling he decided it was the rests internals. What had happened is that there is 2 composite rods with in the rest and had bent both of them. He said it happens alot from the amount of pressure the spring puts on them, He also said that it seems to happen close to 700 shots on the rods(it was about 900 for me). Just thought I would let you guys know. i couldn't finish shooting and had to be scratched for the week. This was the second problem I had with the rest the other was the noise that the spring made when released. Once i get the money I think I am gonna switch to the Expert2 dropaway no composite rods just a rope.
