Last year, the neighbors (the idiot ones) were shooting, in the dark at what who knows. I went outside to see what was going on and I could hear bird shot hitting the corn leaves in the field across the road. Mind you the neighbors are a few hundred yards down the road from us. I'm standing there and next thing I know get wacked with a bird shot pellet in the arm...it stung like crazy and left a little red welt...Does that count? lol

I got hit in the lower thigh by a .22 once. Crazy old neighbour shot me when he thought I was...Well, I never did figure that out.(I only came to visit, as he was an old WWII vet with no family, alone in the country). I was pretty much fine after some lead plucking and bandaging. Never held it against him.

I had a 5.56 FMJ go in my deltoid, along my humorous, and out near my elbow during a night time live fire training exercise. Thankfuly, I didn't break any bones or permanantly loose any function in my arm, and was gimped up for a minimal amount of time.

I still have Shrapnel in my leg from over 35 years ago, when some idiot tried to shoot a beer bottle out of my buddies hand, with a 303(without him knowing, until the shot was fired). He missed, and hit a rock behind us, and the shrapnel sprayed us both, but got my buddy the worst.

We were actually all hunting together, and had stopped at an old rock quarry to sight in our rifles. There was an empty case of beer there, so my and my buddy went down to set up the bottles while, whatshisface stayed back by the truck.

I almost got charged with assault and battery just after it happened  but that's another story.

Twice. Once wasn't too bad, the duck blinds were too close to each other. Glad I had shooting glasses on.

The other time was a little more serious, went hunting with a buddy that I had just met where I'm teaching. He had a beagle, and we were rabbit hunting. The dog jumped a bunny and it ran right towards me, buddy swung on it and shot, I took about 8 pellets to the legs and groin, and two or three in the chest. Thank God for Cordura, only 2 or 3 pellets broke the skin on my shins.

BTW--he missed, but I got the rabbit.

been peppered countless times....never any injuries. I did have to hit the deck once. Its legal to bowhunt during ML season here as long as u wear orange. i was bowhunting from the ground and i heard about 4 guys driving the marsh i was sittin near. I heard one shot and then heard the bullet sizzle thru the woods near me. i went from sitting to laying real quick. And yes i had my orange on.
