RangerClay
What is your favorite? Being new to the sport and I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Do you have one magazine you favor over the others??
Tominator
I used to get Bowhunter, but then I realized I'll never bowhunt Elk, Caribou, Dall sheep, Billy goats, corsicans, et. al. Dwight Schuh was my favorite, Chuck Adams too. Then I got Peterson's Bowhunting for awhile, but now I hunt with Ohiobucks, and it's like hunting with Chuck Adams, Noel Feather, Schuh, and M.R. James all rolled into one little rolly poley eskimo.
preacherman
Peterson's Bowhunting Journal here. Like to read it every month; but reason I get it is because it is only $9 a year.
aksheephuntress
...Traditional bowhunter....I love all the beautiful handmade recurves!....and the quality and variety of articles.
dbHunterNY
Bowhunter & Sportsman's Bowhunting Annual I get Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, New York Game & Fish, Bowhunter, and Sportsman's Bowhunting Annual. The last two are bowhunting magazines I get, but there's good stuff in the others on bowhunting every now and then. - Dan

Maybe one day I'll bowhunt for elk and mulies again...maybe go to Africa on a bowhunt too. Then maybe someday I might get to hunt with a rolly poley ekimo looking guy where all the big bucks roam. Guest WY Hunter
It really depends on what you are interested in, for me, my favorite is Eastmans Bowhunting journal, but it caters to western hunters. I also like Bowhunter.
LifeNRA
I used to get Bowhunter, but then I realized I'll never bowhunt Elk, Caribou, Dall sheep, Billy goats, corsicans, et. al. Ditto! All I get now is Peterson's Bowhunting.
fly
Just subscribed to bowhunter (haven't got the first issue yet). It was good offer 10 bucks for a year. I also get North American hunter. It's free forever since I'm a life member of the NAHC. Occasionally there are some articles about bowhunting. HUNTINGMAN
I have been a subscriber to petersons bowhunting for about ten years now,I have let all other subscriptions drop. All others either talk about things I dont plan on hunting or are full of useless advertisements. Ohiobucks
, but now I hunt with Ohiobucks, and it's like hunting with Chuck Adams, Noel Feather, Schuh, and M.R. James all rolled into one little rolly poley eskimo. Little? Hmmmm, thanks! :D I get Deer and Deer Hunting, love to read that one. Used to get Ohio Game and Fish, but that is the same old recycled stories and public land hunting info over and over again. Have had subscriptions to a number of mags over the years, D&DH is the one I keep renewing.
Swamphunter
My wife just got me a subscription to Bowhunter magazine...hope I like it. I also get Deer and Deer hunting.

arrow32
Bowhunter and Peterson's Bowhunting. Those are my favorite to mags have had alot of subscriptions but those are by far the best IMO. You get a huge variety of hunts and then once whitetail hunting gets closer they have more whitetail hunting in them. Great tips and info as well. Guest ohbowhntr
Who gets a bow magazine? "A" bow magazine??? You mean you only get ONE??? Heck I've got at least 3 different subscriptions.
buffett1
Petersens bowhunting and bowhunter. Aren't these two put out by the same people?
Guest Turtle
Don't actually subscribe or buy any. I found if I googled I could pull them up up on line for free and mags don't clutter house. Love Petterson's Bowhunting and ability to surf articles. wtnhunt
Used to get Peterson's bowhunting mag along with a few other hunting mags, think the Peterson's was probably one of my favorites, but after a couple years seemed like the articles started to get a bit redundant. arrow32
Aren't these two put out by the same people? No. There is a Peterson's Hunting mag then a Peterson's Bowhunting mag. But Bowhunter is a different mag.
wildthing
I have a subscription to a variety of magazines. Each have their pros and cons....not real expensive...maybe pick up a few different subscriptions.
elkoholic
Peterson's Bowhunting is probably my favorite although Bowhunter has some good articles/stories as well.
