TreeStandBowHunter
Well I booked my 12:22pm T-time for March 23rd at the Palmer Course at Turtle Bay in Hawaii. I am going to a week long conference at Waikiki and will be arriving there one day early for the sole purpose of playing golf, lol. It only cost $145:eek:. It will be worth it;)

TreeStandBowHunter
Naw, it shouldn't be that bad. If I concentrate, it should be no different than anywhere else. I think though playing on a course that you know the pro's play on every year, will be mind boggling and might mess with me a little bit;). The greens are probably like lightning too. I can't believe I got a T-time actually, I thought all them ritchy courses in Hawaii would be booked up solid. I just wanna play it, I don't care how many balls I loose:D
Tominator
Cool. Don't know what hole this is Mike, but it is one on the right as you drive into Turtle Bay. Turtle Bay is where my wife and I stayed last year.
Guest Finn
That should be a great track. The slopes don't look too bad, up to 143. Post up some pics when you're done. Good luck The Senior PGA plays there, not the regular PGA
TxBowHunter
Sounds like a very fun trip, dont forget about 12 sleeves of balls. Because that place is only for the best of the best.
TreeStandBowHunter
The Senior PGA plays there, not the regular PGA When I said "Pro's", that's what I meant;) The seniors are pro's aren't they:p:D I am not worried about the slopes because our slope rating is high on these two courses here in Okinawa as well. I am more concerned about their green speed more than anything else...all yeah, and the water that surrounds most of the holes:D
Guest Finn
LOL.....146 slope is more than I care to take on. Played a 141 slope course and it wasn't much fun
TreeStandBowHunter
The slope rating at Turtle Bay vary from 116-143 depending which course you are on. The slope rating on the two course here in Okinawa that I play vary between 122-127. It may not be as bad as Turtle Bay but I am used to a little slope. But don't worry, I will have enough balls:D
