When you plant your sping plots just include some heavy seed producing plants such as milo or millet. However they will eat the clover also and the pods from the cowpeas--if they make any. They will also use the plots to catch bugs--especially the young ones. Yep, the turkeys will hit the plots planted for deer. See them in our hamann farms grower(trefoil/clover) plot often.
