buckbuster11
Whats up with that? Dude just laid an 8 and 7 beatdown on Stewwy Cink. Somebody told me today he thought Tiger was missing putts at the end on purpose just to keep it from being to embarrassing. Anyway, that guy is going to win the Grand Slam this year. Nobody is even close to him right now. You heard it here first. Write it down.

I think he'll win a few Grand Slams before this is all said and done, and honestly, when we look back at his career someday, there might be some crazy stats. Honestly, is the idea of him winning every tourney he plays in a season out of the question? I really don't think it is...as crazy as that sounds.
Guest Finn
Wins 6 of last 7 tourneys, most of them are laughers.....he's the greatest ever and we're lucky to be watching him.

VABuckSlayer
I bet Tiger won't win at The Players Championship this year. So he won't go undefeated! However... I agree he has a good shot at the Grand Slam. If he pulls that off it will be insane!
Guest Finn
VA, you're right. Tiger just doesn't like Sawgrass for some reason. Riviera is another one he doesn't like and ain't playing that one anymore. All the others, I'm taking the man.
OJR
It amazes me as to how he can get in "trouble" on a hole and then pull out a total ridiculous shot to recover with! He does this time after time! It is just great to watch him in action! Even when he is having a "bad" round!

I agree Craig, great time in our life to be a golf time and watch him. He is unreal. Possibly if not THE best ever! Just when you think you got him, he digs deep and comes back! The guy is just unstoppable!!
TreeStandBowHunter
To tell you the truth, I could care less about Tiger Woods. Yeah, he is good, but I won't idol the man. I been playing golf before he became famous. I always have to laugh at the people who go out and buy his clothes and hats, etc...thinking that they will play better:rolleyes: I won't idol any golfer, especially Tiger Woods. Now Arnold Palmer and Jack, those are who I like.
AdvantageTimberLou
Just good? How about Great? I don't buy his clothes or his hats but his popularity has made golf even more popular as more are trying it. When he shows up for an event, local charities make a ton more money that goes for good causes in the local community. So like him or not, he is a GREAT asset to have in golf and if not for him it would not be even close to the popularity it is at now!! You can see it in the TV ratings. When he is in an event, the ratings are much better than if he is not. Arnold was good, I give you that, but I don't want my kids seeing a golfer going around smoking a cigarette on the course like old Arnie use to do!! Now Jack, that man was pure class and still is!! MCH
Tiger Woods is the best to ever play the game. It's amazing just to watch him make it look so simple.

AdvantageTimberLou
actually heard that on ESPN earlier today;) I hope he does, gotta dollar bet and a fancy new avatar bet going with Tominator! Wonder if he is sweating now? LOL!! Still lots of golf to play!! Can you just imagine his trophy cases at home???
Ohiobucks
I love watching him play, he is almost effortless with his iron play swing. Get that driver in his hands though, he is generating some serious RPM's. When Tiger is at his A game, he is unstoppable. When Tiger is playing his C game, he is still dang good.... Guest Finn
Tiger is like MJ. Best player with the greatest will to win in the sport. He's the ONLY golfer you can count on who shows up every week. I don't own a Nike golf item....Cleveland driver, Mizuno irons, vokey wedges, 2-ball putter and Titleist or Top Flite balls. All that, and I still think Tiger is the best ever....how could that be. I'm long past having celebrity/sports idols....but I sure like watching Tiger make the competition wilt when he's playing. toddyboman
Can you just imagine his trophy cases at home??? I'm guessing he has a VERY LARGE room for he trophies. I don't own a Nike golf item....Cleveland driver, Mizuno irons, vokey wedges, 2-ball putter and Titleist or Top Flite balls. All that, and I still think Tiger is the best ever....how could that be. I really don't think it matters what club he swings....He would still be as dominant as he currently is......Nike just showed him the most money:cool:

Grown men chasing a little ball around, hitting it with an overpriced metal club, a Sport? The next thing i know, you'll be telling me NASCAR isn't a sport! Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Tiger is ridiculous. There and to many guys EVER in ANY sport that can have you saying "WOW" when he misses a shot. I remember thinking this Sunday, it was on a hole toward the end, a loooooooong putt, that he lipped out, would have won him the match on that hole. I say 3 years from now, he will have the record for most wins AND the most majors...3 years, write it down Nike just showed him the most money:cool: I disagree. Golf is a game where you rely a lot on your equipment. I know Tiger doesn't just use a club that you or me can take off the shelf at the local pro-shop. He actually works with Nike to design the clubs and they make his according to his style, needs, etc... If I remember correctly, a few years ago Tiger actually took the Nike driver out of his bag and went with a Titleist, and he didn't like the results so he went back with the Nike. And it showed to, I think his driving numbers went down actually. Golf is like anything else, you have to use what fits you, your style. Golf equipment, has to be just about perfect for them, they have to be able to control their shots, don't think money can help with that. My game greatly improved when I switched to a better quality of sticks. But I bet Cleveland/Mizuno/Titleist/Ping or whomever else would and could create/fit Tiger with the club he wants. I'm sure the results would be the same. However he has a deal with Nike so they don't get that luxury. If Nike clubs where so much better then every player on tour should be using them. I'm pretty sure when Tiger came on the scene in the beginning and won the master he wasn't swinging all Nike clubs then.

AdvantageTimberLou
I bet he could take yard sale clubs with worn out grips and still make par on any course around! The guy is just awesome!! A true machine, like Cink said, "open him up and your probably find nuts and bolts" LOL!!
