WHat are some of the best books you have recently read? For me the best of late are:

Super Slam by Chuck Adams

All of the NUMA books by Clive Cussler(Dirk Pitt and Kurt Austin are almost as good as MacGyver lol)

and Twisted by Jefferey Deaver(It is a collection of short stories. THey are certainly twisted, but quite good)

Re: Best recently read Books

I am reading a great book right now.

It is "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton.

It is a novel based on a lot of research and scientific facts. Really interesting. It is an eye opener in regards to PETA, ELF, Sierra Club, Green Peace and other enviromental organizations!

Great reading.

Any of the Deaver books are awesome. So is anything by James Patterson.

I just read a book called Night Fall by Nelson Demille, it was very good. I haven't read anything by Ridley Pearson, or Iris Johannson that I didn't like either

American Soldier is the one I'm working on now. So far I havent gotten past the Planting Seeds chapter. I hope it gets better. I've heard a lot of good things about this book, but so far it isn't holding my interest very well. .....popgun

I read that one also and it is a slow starter but once it gets going, it is very interesting. Tommy Franks didn't pull any punches as things got going in Iraq! Very interesting book!
