I don't think so, Swampy, at least not with any more risk to an LEO than any other firearm. Tell me you are going pat a guy down and let that thing stay on him, even not knowing what it was, and then he's going to deploy it against you? Exactly when is the concealment factor going to come into play? If one were to be used against LEO it would be deployed already, and when you walk up on the traffic stop, bang, just like any .38 or 9mm or whatever. I am just saying I don't see it as posing more of a risk than anything else. Then again, I don't make traffic stops, intervene in domestics, etc.

Think of it how we would see it. We see a guy walking down the street or in an alley. Maybe it is a guy that is wanted or maybe even someone we do not know. The guy is simply carrying a flashlight or so it appears. Then when he is within about 10 ft, he.... like the guy said "get down to business" with it, on the unsuspecting LEO. Mark my words...maybe not in smalltown USA, but that is EXACTLY the type of gun that gets cops killed. If I ever got the opportunity to "pat him down", no.. it would not stay on him and he probably would not get the chance to use it. If this guy (carrying the fully automatic machine gun) has no problems using a firearm like that (why else would he be carrying it), if say he does not want to get arrested for this, or maybe he is wanted for a serious crime and expects LEO contact, this person will not let me get to the point of contact and stop and frisk. Isn't going to happen...besides its only a flashlight in appearance, and would not have to be pulled out of his back pocket.

Had I not seen this video, I would have never suspected a flashlight to kill me in less than a second. When an LEO errors though and shoots someone mistakely...lets hang him because there are not 3000 different homeade weapons nowadays that can kill him and prevent him from seeing his kids ever again.

No reason under the sky, and absolutely NO WAY will you convince me that anyone other than maybe the military, need a weapon like that...NO WAY to change my mind. This is the exact sort of weapon that makes police officers jumpy and maybe a bit quicker to draw a firearm.

JMO...

I don't see any use for this thing even in the military!

Some fool walking down the street carrying it or into any building, nobody would suspect it to be a weapon!

Get rid of them NOW before they hit the street!

Nothing but a drug dealers or gang members weapon!!!

This I agree with....more ammo for the anti's when it comes to gun control. What in the **** would a law abiding citizen need a firearm like this for? And if they are not made for the law abiding citizen in mind...then who for??

I disagree with OJR...I think it should be standard issue for all females that walk pets or excercise/walk/jog in public

Well that would be a first eh. "A gun for woman only?" I guess if a man had one, it would be illegal then...right :D:rolleyes:

I agree with Orlan and Ken. There is no practical, or logical use for this weapon, other than ending up in the wrong hands. Imagine a kid packing one of this to school.

I can just see some gal out walking or jogging and someone tries to do something! With that thing the next thing you know, the thug will get it away from the women and now you have some real huge problems!:(:(

No thank you! Ban them immediately!

a bunch of you are so one sided. a bunch of you jump on the negatiuve bandwagon because one person says so. hello? we have the right to bear arms. but not for nothing you will never stop illegal arms getting into the hands of perps. Oh My God... How is this so much dangerous than any other firearm? Holy heck, its concealed in a flashlight and carrying case. Come on people, of course some of these would fall into the wrong hands. JUST LIKE ANY OTHER FIREARM THAT HAS BEEN PRODUCED. all of you need to calm down....again we have the right to bear arms and as long as we have our licenses and proper paperwork even then we will not stop illegal possesion of firearms.
