dbHunterNY
Hahaha I'd rather hunt with someone I know, or feel like I know Who's Tred Barta or Bodie Owens ? :D Tred Barta has a show on the Versus network. He's a little weird and hunts with only a long bow. His self-proclaimed qualities are: 1) He hunts "the hard way" and only that way. 2) He says he's "170 lbs of blued twisted steel???" or something like that anyway. lol Anyway, I choose Bill Jordan because he's part of the reason camo is what it is today. It's admirable, striving to make something that much better, and the Realtree saying says it all. Any of the hunts would be cool though. AdvantageTimberLou
I would hunt with Bill and leave my bow at home! LOL!! To just be with him, hear the stories and share camp would be awesome. To get skunked is no big deal, its the stories you can tell!! A day hunting with Bill Jordan and getting skunked is a ton better in my opinion. Strut10
Who's Tred Barta or Bodie Owens ? Really............. Never heard of them so I guess I can't say as I'd hunt with them. A vote for "skunked with Bill"
PA_Spike_King
Yep hunt with Bill. Don't know Barta but I have seen Owens's show and all he ever does is just TALK about hunting and really does not DO much hunting at least on his show. I want to see huntin. M00N
I'd hunt with Bill Jordan and get skunked anyday. He seems like a really down to earth good natured fellow. Tred's personality type would clash with mine majorly. I'd be tempted, like Andrea said, to bound and gag him and then just leave him somewhere far, far away while I go hunt. lol I'm in no way a high-strung individual and I honestly cannot stand high-strung or extremely dominant personality types. I also honestly have no clue who Bodie Owens is, even after reading someone's description of him. So, that rules him out because I don't hunt with strangers. BowJoe
I'd like to go with Bill. Tred's a jerk that is rude and obnoxious not to mention arrogant and he says he's a teddy bear but hard working. Don't know the Owens guy so can't comment on him. toddyboman
I don't have any trouble with Barta....I think he is rather funny actually and have respect for him after watching some of his hunts. But being a big realtree fan (like everyone else) I would much rather hunt with Bill.
wtnhunt
Bill Jordan, Michael Waddell, or David Blanton as well as several others, I think I could have a good time even if I got skunked. Tred Barta, I would probably get irritated with him about his way being the "right way" really quick.
Dawg
Jordan for sure.

ksbowhntr77
For the fear of a lynchin' Jordan........ No, really I'd pick Bill, just to be there and hear his stories and such would be a dream hunt.....
aksheephuntress
I don't have any trouble with Barta....I think he is rather funny actually and have respect for him after watching some of his hunts. But being a big realtree fan (like everyone else) I would much rather hunt with Bill. Toddybowman: I think it's admirable to assert an opinion, even when part of it is seemingly in the minority.... ...Yeah, I think Tred is hillarious...and he has his own hunting style/aspirations...he is able to laugh at himself; his difficult goals are almost painful to watch, with all the variables that have to all come together for it to "work". ...Funny thing...usually people are so bothered by the traits that they see in others that they actually,in some form or another, possess themselves:rolleyes:...whether they are conscious of it , or not. ...On the other hand... Bill is a hunter of the highest standard and caliber (as a lot of you know first hand)....and totally different personality, obviously, than Tred...he would seem like a person you can" trust to bear hunt with"....That is my measure of trust of a person. You know he would watch your back and protect you... and likewise, you would do the same for him.Not everyone ...including a lot of hunters /guides on all the hunting shows...are cut out for bear hunting. ....The two would probably have a hillarious time together...I would love to be a "fly on the wall" (or,tree)on a hunt with them...could make a really entertaining episode!I could be wrong, but I suspect Bill Jordan is a mature enough person to appreciate Tred's humor, and also his seemingly far-fetched odds at successfully harvesting some of the game he attempts with his long bow....and I'm sure Tred has the utmost respect for Bill.Tred Barta and Bill Jordan are like comparing Carp and Walleye....one's real fun to catch with your hands...tastes better with the mud vein dug out.....:And, the other: well....it doesn't get any better than that! ....Hunting with both of them together would be a hoot!!...and I wouldn't worry in the least at getting"skunked"....I've never hunted with a guide,so I've always relied on my own scouting/glassing/stalking instincts(my guy and I,in an unspoken way, work together and support one another with that...We are "always hunting":D)....It would be an awesome learning experience to get the opportunity to,though. ....And I have a strong feeling that someone hunting with Bill Jordan would face a very slim chance of ending up "skunked". Guest TylerMatheny
I would have to say Bill. I would rather have a great time hunting and not get anything rather than be as serious as possible and get a trophy.
