Hey everybody, my name is Donnie, and I am ready to get going turkey hunting!!!!!!! I didn't get a Turkey last year, as we lost our main turkey hunting property two weeks before season. Hunted a few properties pretty hard, but the turkeys just weren't there. In the off season we have secured a couple new places as well as the property right beside our old one. There are ALOT of turkeys in this area, however there is alot of competition for land and a growing amount of landowners who will not allow hunting. I think last year was about the first year in ten that neither me or my father didn't get at least one bird so, I am more pumped than ever to get out and get one. My season here starts April the 25th and goes to the end of May!

Just checking in. Our season doesn't start until 4/12, but it doesn't mean I don't have the fever. Got out all the gear about two weeks ago to get it all in order. I've got Cutt'n and Strutt'n 12 on auto rewind and trying to burn a hole through the DVD. I'm taking two weeks off from work this year and will be keeping the woods hot this year.

Good luck to all.

Hey guys just noticed that turkey teams where up and running. I still haven't got a turkey yet 3 years and still trying, I get them coming and then they stop:mad: thats why I started making custom calls. So far got 30 sold from last spring and 10 turkeys down.;):D

Hopefully I can get 1 or 2 this spring. I agree with classy cutters

One bird down. . . . but not to my gun. Watched an Osceola crumble to the roar of my buddies gun Saturday about noon. He had never killed an Osceola longbeard so he was up to bat first. It was nice to get it all started!!

Shane, you boys are in for a treat. I'm watchin' and listenin' now. . . . man it's gonna be fun!!! They're talkin' and showin' off for the ladies.
