PA_Spike_King
One bird down. . . . but not to my gun. Watched an Osceola crumble to the roar of my buddies gun Saturday about noon. He had never killed an Osceola longbeard so he was up to bat first. It was nice to get it all started!! Congrats to your friend there Cove Sorry I haven't been around, I have been fighting with the flu but I'm starting to feel better. 29 days till I hit Kansas. Ambuscher
Went yesterday to look over the new lease. Ran out of time and only got to see part of it. Suppose to go back Monday and see the rest of it. I'll spend a little more time there then, looking for some mushrooms while waiting for the birds to go to roost. Ambuscher
Stopped by Wally World today and picked up the hat clips that holds mouth calls. Keeps them handy when I go down to feed the turkeys and mess with them. You talk about fun and get the fever up. I can make my Blue Slates gobble all day long. Usually after about 20 mins. I get bored with them and start feeding the rest of the animals. LOL

Ambuscher
Took the kids out geocaching today up in the edge of MO. We saw two different flocks, and both of them had a strutting tom in the middle of a field full of hens.
