Heard this on the local radio the other day. Who are the biggest bust that your teams have had?

William Bedford-1st round pick of the Pistons. A 7 foot cokehead who never left the bench.

Chuck Long-First round pick (12) for the Lions. Dude was garbage.

Aaron Gibson-Was supposed to be a great O-Lineman. He was hurt right off the rip. Way to go Lions.

Andre Ware- Heisman Trophy winner and terible Pro QB.

Uwe Krupp- The guy was a solid NHL defenseman until he came to Detroit with serious back issues. Thanks for nothin Uwe!!!

I'm sure there are many more.

Holy geez...the new Browns have had their share since they came back to the league in '99.

Let's start with their first pick, #1 overall Tim Couch. Not worthy of that pick, but I thought he had some ability- but the poor front offense back then never addressed the offensive line and the guy just got beat up and had his career ruined.

The following year, also the first overall pick, Courtney Brown. The guy just couldn't stay healthy.

Then were was William Green, 16th overall if I remember correctly. Again, had talent, but he also had tons of emotional and drug issues that really were the end of him.

Gerrad Warren, as the story goes, management wanted Richard Seymour, but Butch Davis changed his mind at the last second and took Warren- a guy he recruited since high school in Florida. He might...might..have been worth a 4th rounder.

How about Bake McBride back in 1981? Got traded to the Tribe for Sid Monge, sat out most of his first season with an eye infection. A freakin' eye infection. Played 27 games in '81, and 70 games in '82. Tribe gave him free agency status, but he retired.

How about Super Joe Charboneau. Rookie of the year in 80 I believe, never did much after that, except open beer botles with his eye socket.

Another one was this:

In 1976, the Tribe signed Pitcher Wayne Garland to a 10-year, $2.3 million contract. Garland hurt his arm and won just 55 games in five seasons with Cleveland.

My dad still grumbles about that to this day. :D

Over the years the Saints have had way more than their share of busts.

One stands out over all of them though and he was the head coach. I can't remember his name now but he was overheard once on the sidelines saying "we need to do something about that running back #34 whoever he is". He was referring to non other than Walter Payton!

The same coach for the Saints had a high #1 pick in the NFL draft. Who does he pick...a kicker!! Yep a kicker as a #1 draft choice. The kicker even turned out to be a bust. What an idiot! That coach went on to lead the Saints to their worst NFL season (imagine that) before finally getting the boot.

Stephen Jackson is a one year wonder? Is that what you are saying?

Oh, I forgot, you're one of those fantasy guys who's into gawdy #'s.

Outside of the outlier season of 13 TD's and 90 grabs in 2006...what's so special? Physically, he's got the tools, but really he's average to above average. For his size, he's not necessary the hardest runner I've ever seen and that guy gets tackled by way too many cornerbacks. Basically, he's a good back, but he's not in the upper tier like some people think. He's not terrible, but he's not LT either.

Yeah I'm the fantasy guy who plays in less fantasy leagues then/than you do ya DB.:)

I'm also 2 time defending realtree football champ, therefore further proving that I know more about football in all aspects then/than you do.:D
