I had just woke up with my daughter who was 1. I turned on the tv and seen Katie Couric talking about a small plane had hit the trade center and then the second one hit. That was the worst thing I have ever seen. My wife was at the court house and they (cops) were going crazy in there. She said everyone was panicing and she didnt know why at first. Just thinking about it makes me want to tear up.

I just took my daughter to daycare, was listening to Stern on the radio on the way home. Then he mentioned something about an explosion. By the time I got home, they were reporting that a plane flew into one of the towers. I knew right away something was wrong. Because jets can not fly over NYC. I turned on the TV and watched it the entire day!

:( :( :(

I was sitting here, at the computer, in here :rolleyes: and decided to take a break, and watch the news. I turned on the TV, to see a plane going through a building.

I thought, it was a commercial for a new movie out or something. It took a few minutes, before I realized, I was watching the Real News :eek: What a strange day that was :(

It was my first day at a new job a half hour from DC. Sitting in our staff weekly devotions someone came in and notified us that one of the towers were hit. A secretary immediately led out in prayer for the Pentagon. (her husband worked there with many others from our church) We later watched on TV and were stunned when we heard it was hit too.

Driving in to work, listening to the radio. My firstborn was all of 3 weeks old, and I wondered what I had brought her in to. I got to work and went up and turned on the tv just before the second plane hit. The people in my office were sickened, just like I was. To me, it was immediately apparent that we were under attack. We still are.

I was still in bed, but my wife had gotten up to get ready for work. She woke me up and I turned on the TV!

Crazy!

Now where were you when JFK got shot?

I was at my uncle's place. The neighbor came over and told us. My uncle didn't have a TV, so I went home and watched that whole thing unfold including Oswald getting shot!

we were at home, sipping morning coffee. we watched live as the second plane came in and hit. i remember the hole in my gut feeling, and told my wife we're going to war with someone. now we know it's not a country we're at war with, it's a religion.

now, kathleen, same question back at you... lol

...yeah,Steve....I know:o:D...I need to contribute on my own question....:D

...I guess I dallied too long on a post I felt like I had to write on Mugg's daily journal (directed at somebody else)...probably will regret it tomorrow(but maybe not:D);

-Anyway....I really have to log off,now-gotta tuck my kiddos in-Goodnight,all!:),and God Bless our country and opportunities.

..I have really appreciated everyone's posts on this,so far.

I just happened to turn on the TV to catch the morning news here in the Pacific time zone and watched as the whole thing unfolded. Like others, I found the second plane hitting the tower to be very surreal and my gut reaction was that there was bound to be major repercussions.:(

I was teaching that day. I was just starting my free period when another teacher came in our room frantic. She stated that they bombed the buildings again and her brother worked there. It was also the first year of our new school building and our classroom was the only room with a working TV. Needless to say we were very popular that day.
