Turkeygirl
Anyone else get the ice/sleet junk? We've got some here..the bad part...well not bad..but still...I was suppose to do a 1/2 hour teaching thing with 2 other girls from nursing on hygiene to 2nd graders at a school 45 minutes away...well the weather closed the schools there! Geesh...so how we'll make it up I dunno but I'm sure the prof. will find someway knowing her. Oh well, now I have more time to get studying done and relax. By the way I had clinical yesterday and I pulled my first IV and catheter...ya'll better watch out:D:eek:
Tominator
Yep. Kids and I are on a 2 hour delay. Wife got sent to Toledo today. A bunch of counties she's driving through have a level 2 snow emergency. Owens Corning better hope she gets there OK, or they're going to have an angry husband on their hands. Shaun_300
There's about 6 inches of snow here right now, it was an interesting drive into the city this morning! Still coming down hard and calling for 6 more inches this morning and this afternoon. School buses are cancelled but schools are still open. M00N
No ice here but a ton of rain. We're now going to get a flood instead. Hopefully I don't lose my internet connection since I'll be stuck indoors for several days probably. Then at least Realtree can help calm my stir crazy a little. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
We got a little bit of snow last night, not much, pretty much gone now. Temps in the mid 30s...I can feel spring coming
Shaun_300
Well we have a little more than a foot on the ground so far, still coming down hard! I could hardly get into the driveway when I got home from class. School buses were cancelled again today. My brother was home all day, I get home and did he snowblow the driveway? Of course not, too lazy. So I had to trot through it all in my running shoes to the house and got soaked. Well, better get out there and get it cleaned out before mom gets home, she definetly wouldn't get in the driveway with her Cavalier! ruttinbuc
A ton of rain but no ice or snow....The birds were going crazy this morning before the wind showed up. Spring is definitely in the air!
Tominator
We're under a winter storm watch, which will probably turn to a warning later today or tomorrow. Supposed to get 5 to 10 inches starting tomorrow morning. Probably not going to be early enough for a school cancellation though.
MCH
We're supposed to get between 3 and 9 inches of snow sometime tonight and tomorrow. And I'm right near the Texas border so that's saying something for us. May end up being the most snow we've had in over 10 years.
PA_Spike_King
Boy-O-BOY, the night before last I had inches of water in my basement. I didn't get to bed till 2:15 in the morning but I did make it to work yesterday and the basement is wet but no standing water. Glad that's over.
