RangerClay
For anyone who is interested... Brett Favre will discuss the decision to "hang up his cleats" today, Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 11 a.m. CST. It will be live on Packers.com but I'm sure most of the sports networks will air it as well.
muggs
I think the last thing we all need is "more" Favre...holy geez...talk about man love.
toddyboman
He will say he is tired and wants to spend more time with his family. Don't think he is going to say much to ruffle any feathers....

muggs
Consider the sources:rolleyes: You should start considering the main source (Favre) more, only reason he's hanging them up is because management didn't beg him to come back and show that he's "wanted." Ego maniac who's got everyone fooled. RangerClay
Hope some of you got to see the press conference. It was really nice. Thanks 4 the memories Brett!!
Bowtech_archer07
Was a good press conference. Sad to see him go after so long. Not a Packers Fan, but he was one of the greatest of all time!

Only he knows when it's time. And I guess that time is now. As far as the rest of the speculation, its just that, speculation. He had an awesome run and we were lucky to have been here to see it. He is a genuine man who said Green Bay was the perfect fit, and it was. The rest of the NFL would have been so lucky!
hogwild63
The rest of the NFL would have been so lucky! Oh, I dunno. Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, Phil Simms, Fran Tarkington, Johnny Unitas, John Elway, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Marino, etc, etc... The rest of us has been so lucky too. Yep, man love. WHO....????:D:D I hate to see him go.... it was fun while it lasted!! Part that scares me most is it took the Pack 30 years to win another Super Bowl. The next QB that takes us there may not have even been born yet.....yikes Didnt see the conference, gonna have to go to Packers.com to catch up. Guest Finn
LOL....Muggsy, this is the last time you'll get to bash Brett until he's a unanimous vote into the Hall of Fame He's been the face of the NFL for almost 2 decades.....at least let him have a press conference when he retires I agree, there have been many great players out there....just none better than BRETT FAVRE! Chrud
Come on Muggs, you know you were glued to Favre's interview today like crap on velcro. You can try to make it look like you don't like him, but you know you do. It wasn't that long ago there was a pic of you posted with a Favre jersey on. AdvantageTimberLou
Guy is pure class....hope Michael Vick caught the news conference from prison and realizes what a Pro quarterback with class looks like!! Thanks for the memories Brett, you destroyed my Lions over the years, hope this year we can finally win! LOL!!
Chrud
Kind of ironic...against Detroit, Minnesota and Chicago, he's had 54, 54 and 53 career TD's. I didn't get to see the live interview, but did watch the replay on "Pre Game" tonight. Brett was a lot more emotional than what I expected. It's hard to explain what the state of Wisconsin has been like the last couple days. Folks outside of Wisconsin have no idea. Wisconsin fans have always been very dedicated to their teams, more than most. Lots of "Favre Specials" on TV and radio the last two days. I'm glad I've had the privledge to watch Brett Favre play at Lambeau three times, which were all wins.
Guest MitchCags
yeah the feeling in wisconsin is definitely different. i remember tuesday morning on campus was very different, people were in shock and disbelief. but now it is time for rogers and time to appreciate favre's amazing career.
