RangerClay
It's that time of year again!! Here in New York we try to beat the March cabin fever winter blues with food. Chili & chowder cook-offs are quite common this time of year. One event that is the most popular is the Taste of the Town event. Regional restaurants and stores get together to try each others goodies and fun is had by all. It was that event that inspired me to have the Regional Flavors Exchange last year and it was a huge success. For those of you who are new to the Realtree Forums we run the exchange with similar guidelines as the Christmas exchange. Everyone puts their name in the hat and we exchange a special local food item with someone else. I think it is a fun, tasty, and a great way to meet other forum members. Many of us take our local flavors for granted. Around here we have maple products since NY is the 3rd largest producer in the USA. Do you have something special nearby that is only made where you live? Would you like to share it with others? Here are the rules that were made by the exchange partners last year: 1. You cannot send any homemade gifts. 2. You cannot send any gift that requires refrigeration 3. Gifts and shipping should equal about $25 4. Last day to sign-up will be midnight Monday March 24th. If you would like to participate please leave a post below with you Realtree name & if you are willing to ship to Canada. Thanks! lil hunter
lil hunter I'm gonna say U.S. only, we ship through my moms work and I'm not sure what kind of difficulties they would have sending stuff to canada. And our we allowed to send the same things as last year? Southern IN doesn't have much of a selection. haha
