Deb
What's your thoughts on her as a running mate for McCain? Don't think it would happen, but let's entertain the thought for a friendly discussion (sp?). Is she Republican(showing my ignorance here)? JJL
She's Republican......... She's Conservative........ She's Intelligent.......... She's Energetic.......... She's Smokling Hot......... So why would she want to hang out with McCain for 4 years??????????????
wtnhunt
I would support her for president, Rice as a running mate for McCain I think would cinch a republican win in November, but I just do not see it happening. Nice to be able to do a little wishful thinking.
johnf
Don't see it happening, but would be a great ticket. She just doesn't seem that ambitious to me. Heck I would vote for her for Pres. too for the reasons listed above. Not to mention there are a lot of good decent black Christians throwing their support to the Godless Obama. I think to get a woman like her on the ticket would put McCain easily over the top.
OJR
I would like to have seen her run for the nomination, not second fiddle!
Deb
I would vote for her, too. First fiddle or second. Current environment demands expience in foreign affairs and who would be more up to date than her. I'm not saying that foreign affairs is the only issue, but it is major. If I was McCain, I would do anything to get her on my ticket! It would sure play havick(sp) with Obama's campain!
PotashRLS
I like the thought. That would maybe help combat the Black and Woman vote issue that Obama and Hillary assume they have locked up(to some extent anyway)???? Rice is a rock solid choice in my opinion but would her link to President Bush hurt her with the people walking the fence on the War issue? Interesting topic. I think who she is would trump almost any other issue. She is smart, she is conservative, she's got the experience, and although neither of these matter to me, they would to some, she is a woman and she is black. wtnhunt
Another good option for McCain could possibly be Colin Powell, but do not see that happening either. Will be interesting to see who he does pick.
