wildside Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 We flew back home to the land of snow yesterday after enjoying a week of sunshine in Florida. My parents have become snowbirds, and we finally took them up on the invite to come down and visit. Took in NASA, orange groves, beaches, shell hunting, great seafood, and, of course, Disney World! Our soon-to-be 5-year-old daughter was beside herself with excitement to meet her favorite princesses, and our 7-year-old son was most impressed with Goofy's Barnstormer rollercoaster. All in all, it was a wonderful time, and the kids loved the one-on-one time with Grandma and Grandpa. I must confess. . . .when I saw the snow-covered fields from the airplane window, a smile came across my face. As fun as it is to travel, there really is no place like home!
