hangunnr
This is one project I've wanted to do for years, and well it's taken a couple years to come to fruition... It was worth the wait... I set out with a Remington XP100R, had it rebarreled with a sweeeeet Krieger 1-12 twist 308 Win barrel. Had the muzzle threaded for a muzzle brake and a end cap to cover the threads when the brake isn't in use. There may well be a supressor for this rifle at some point in the future. I then had the barreled pistol action fitted to a very nice Accurate Innovations walnut stock. These are premier grade stocks which sport a full length aluminum bedding block similar to what HS Precision uses. I was able to pick up a used Rem Model 7 bottom metal to comlpete the package. I had the rifle stock fitted by the smith that did the metal work as it was needing some of the bedding block removed. I just completed bedding on the pistol stock last night. It still needs paint but I haven't setteled on what coat it's gonna wear, maybe a camo dip.... The mount is by Ken Farrell the rings are Warne QD and the optics a Leupold VXII 4-12. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend so the barrel break in can start. hangunnr

Strut10
Some awfully nice metal work sitting there. A combo like that could really reduce a guy's need for the majority of the rest of his guns. The above plus a .22, a 12 ga. and a big bore and you could sell the rest.
