VermontHunter Posted March 9, 2008 Report Share Posted March 9, 2008 Well the ice hasn't let up and things are really starting to turn for the worst..we have over 1/2" of solid ice, with 6-8 " of wet snow on the way ..:eek: Here's just a taste of whats happening around my property, I'm hearing things are far worse all over town .. :( Here's a few pics from a few minutes ago ,, and the weather man says this isn't over anytime soon .. Don't know if my flowering crab is ever going to recover from this .. Just one of many of our soft maples .. These Pine branches are suppose to be straight outwards.. It's not supposed to stop til around 5am. The ice is the worst, it'll do some serious damage, I'd rather have 2 feet of snow rather than 1/4" of ice!
