......We have been fascinated with the super short magnums, since they first came out!- neat to see your thread.

....Personally, as much as I love Winchester,in the .25 cal SSM,....I would opt for the .25 super short magnum in the Browning A-bolt.But that is my opinion.

..Also, be sure to keep your barrel cleaned often with the super short magnums.

-Nice round!....what grain are you thinking of using?

We prefer 120.

Nice little light gun to carry and shoot...I have no complaints with my Winchester .25 wssm. Glad you say you reload, bc I have no real good results shooting factory Winchester ammo outta mine. Reword that...the ammo shoots good...just not real happy with the performance on whitetails. Always killed what I shot...but the bullets never seemed to open up.

Can't go wrong with a Winchester model 70 in my opinion!

LOve the one i purchased this year . A browing a bolt with the boss . Ive shot deer with no problem never took another step . I hear all these horor stories about factory ammo not the case with mine i'm shooting winchester ballistic silvertip 85 gr. . I could not ask for better groups . Must admit the boss has a lot to do with it my buddie has the same gun with out the boss shoots half as good as mine.
